Domain Changed - Change your bookmarks! |

So thats it folks, the website has changed domains from p0rn0finish.org to g0m0.net. The old domain name runs out in the summer, so you have till then to change your bookmarks. The redirect will remain in place until then, but after that, if you can't find the site it's yer own damn fault :p |

After some discussion with TK and PIT, we've decided to drop the p0rn0finish domain name in favour of the g0m0 domain only. Why? A few reasons really. P0rn0finish.org is only used for the website; g0m0.net is used for everything else. Just because the domain will be g0m0.net doesn't mean that we will be dropping the pF name, just a website address change is all. Since we maintain both g0m0 and p0rn0finish, it makes sense to just use a single domain. And while it is in no way a factor, it does mean there is no need to pay for renewing the p0rn0finish domain name when we have a perfectly good and working domain (g0m0.net) already. As for search engines and such, bleh, we are the only ones who care about our website anyway.
The official change won't happen until mid 2010, but I'm informing everyone now as I plan on getting this website changed over sometime within in the next couple of months. I will setup up a redirect for the site, so it will be seamless, but at some point the p0rn0finish.org domain will disappear, so you will have to have change your bookmarks to g0m0.net before that time.
At this moment, do nothing; I'll let folks know when it is time to change your bookmarks/favourites after I've made the change. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that this change over will be coming eventually.

With RX sharing our Q3 game server, we've also continued the existing Q3 stats but using the new RX server logs. With that in mind, here is an RX theme for the Q3 stats page.

The only difference in the URL is the rx instead of pf however visually they are quite different (though using the same bismark skin). The data used and displayed on both is exactly the same; the only differences are visual. |

I'm not going to type that this should be the last time we are down because if I were to type that then the server would surely crap out the next day. Oh wait ...
Anyway, while there wasn't anything particularly wrong with the old server ... except for it only working for a few days or hours at a time ... TK took the opportunity to update the hardware. While he was doing that, I updated our website software. At first glance, the site should look little different to before, have a good look around and you will clearly see the subtle and not so subtle differences. |

So, no doubt you will have (not) seen the website was a little broken/missing/fubar/all the above for a little while. Once again, TK got things working (after a couple of attempts). It turned out to be a slight configuration error (thanks for the heads up Mem) and we are hopeful that this issue won't pop up again. There were a few errors on the site when things came back up, but I'm pretty sure I fixed them all. Shout out if you see any I missed.

Stats for the Threewave server are online, just hit the link above or right and see how many times BG has nailed you ...
It still needs tweaking (especially the theme, working on it, I promise!) so if you can't stand the colors, hit the skins menu to go back to the default. Stats will be automatically collected and updated once a month for now, but we may look into adjusting that depending on how popular the stats are. Have fun, don't forget to thank TK for finding the stats program!
Oh, and free frag on BG if you can tell me where the title quote originates :)

I'm rather liking it. Co-op with the g0m0's, zombies, scary stuff, and the expert setting is great!
